A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of central Douglas County and surrounding areas above 2,000 feet between 8:00 p.m. Saturday night and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said northeast to east winds between 25 and 30 miles per hour with gusts to 45 miles per hour are expected. Extreme southern Douglas and Coos Counties and portions of Josephine County are included in the advisory.
The advisory said gusty overnight winds could cause unattended fires and campfires to get out of control and cause wildfires.
