The Learning Child Committee of the Mercy Foundation is having the Superhero Socktober drive on Saturday.
A release from the foundation, said the event is being held to collect socks and undergarments for children in need, just after the school year has gotten underway. Those who want to help can bring new socks and undergarments to Fred Meyer between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Cash will be accepted as well.
