WOMAN TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER VEHICLE ROLLS

A woman was taken to the hospital after the car she was driving rolled on Thursday night.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 11:30 p.m. 32-year old Brittany Whitfield was traveling south on Old Pacific Highway in the Myrtle Creek area. The report said the driver lost control at the intersection with Bills Road. The vehicle rolled over onto its top once when it went into the ditch.
Whitfield was the only occupant in the vehicle and showed no signs of impairment. She was transported to Mercy Medical Center with minor injuries. The car was towed from the scene.
