MAN CITED AFTER ALLEGEDLY SMASHING WINDOW WITH BASEBALL BAT

A Roseburg man was cited for allegedly using a baseball bat to smash the window of a vehicle on Monday.
Information from Roseburg Police said the 19-year old reportedly saw someone who owed him money, in a car at the intersection of Stewart Parkway and Garden Valley.  The suspect got out of his vehicle to confront the other individual and allegedly started using the baseball bat. He also tried to pull the other person out of their car, according to the report.
Numerous calls came in regarding the man’s behavior and witnesses reported that he was driving erratically through the parking lots and roads in the area where officers were looking for them.
The report said the other vehicle and the victim involved were not located and never reported the incident. The suspect was charged with second degree disorderly conduct and for reckless driving. He was released after being cited.
