In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
Staff with Umpqua Community College are holding a Performing and Visual Arts open house on Wednesday.
Those attending will be able to meet Dr. Christina Allaback, the new Director of Theatre, and tour the newly refurbished Centerstage Theatre and the new Theatre Teaching Studio. The event will include student performances and light refreshments as well. The open house is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The theatre program is presenting Orson Welle’s historic radio play “War of the Worlds” on Halloween night at 7:30 p.m. It will also be presented on November 1st and 2nd as well. Call 440-4691 for more information.
