FROST ADVISORY FOR FRIDAY MORNING

A Frost Advisory is in effect for central Douglas County and surrounding areas for early Friday morning.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said temperatures as low as 35 degrees will result in the formation of frost. Along with the Umpqua Valley, the Advisory applies to Josephine and Jackson counties, and eastern Curry County.
Forecasters said the frost could kill sensitive vegetation if left uncovered. Some pockets of sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
The Advisory is in place from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
