TRANSIENT JAILED AFTER HARASSMENT INCIDENT

A transient was jailed after a harassment incident on Wednesday night.
A report from Roseburg Police said at about 7:30 p.m. the 35-year old man allegedly became upset when he was refused entry to the Roseburg Rescue Mission. The report said the man was intoxicated and arrived after the cut off time for entry. The suspect allegedly pushed the night manager several times, trying to get him to fight.
The transient was charged with harassment and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
