A Roseburg man was jailed for burglary on Saturday night.
A report from Roseburg Police said at about 9:00 p.m. officers responded a residence in the 600 block of Kane. The report said the man was allegedly tried to break into the home by first throwing a rock through a window and then by gaining access into the residence by kicking in the front door.
The man was also charged with second degree criminal mischief. He was released from custody on Monday.
