The Garden Valley Road Paving Project is in its final phase and should be completed later this week.
An update from the Douglas County Public Works Department said striping is taking place through Friday of this week. Construction crews are restriping Garden Valley Road between Brown’s Bridge and the Roseburg city limits. Work is taking place each day between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect delays as traffic flow will be controlled by pilot cars during construction hours.
The update said the project is being completed ahead of schedule. It was originally slated to be finished by October 31st.
