SOUTHBOUND FREEWAY LANES REOPEN AFTER NEARLY THREE HOUR CLOSURE

Interstate Five southbound re-opened at about 9:45 a.m. Friday after a lengthy closure which followed an early morning accident near the Clarks Branch Interchange.
Starting around 7:00 a.m. freeway traffic was diverted to exit 119, along Oregon 42 and Oregon 99 through Dillard, and returned to the freeway at exit 112. Northbound freeway traffic was limited to one lane for a time.
Numerous emergency vehicles headed to the scene but officials with Oregon State Police have not released more information about the situation as of 11:00 a.m.
