Work on the Deep Cut Bridge on Road 29 in the Tiller Ranger District of the Umpqua National Forest has been completed and its now open for traffic.
A release from the Forest Service said the $900,000 project creates a stable, safe and long-term solution for transit.
Steve Marchi, Umpqua National Forest Engineer said the bridge was completed well ahead of schedule. He called the work “a success for the community” and said the bridge should provide safe passage for generations.
