EUGENE MAN BELIEVED TO BE MISSING IN DOUGLAS COUNTY

A Eugene man is believed to be missing in Douglas County and authorities are trying to find him.
Dwes Hutson of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said they are looking for 37-year old Roscoe Casita.
He was reported missing to the Eugene Police Department by family members on Saturday. On Monday Casita’s vehicle was located by family members at Timpanogas Lake where he has been known to camp in the past.
Hutson said members of Douglas County Search and Rescue are currently searching the area around the lake. Timpanogas Lake is in the north east corner of the county, about 93 miles northeast of Roseburg, and 94 miles southeast of Eugene. Hutson said it is near the Douglas/Lane county line.
Casita is a white male, 5 foot 10 inches tall, 220 pounds with black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
