Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office have released the results from the latest Click-It-Or-Ticket campaign.
Sergeant Mark Norris said local deputies provided 30 additional hours of enforcement during the nationwide campaign. Norris said they took the following actions:
*12 citations for speed
*18 warnings for speed
*7 citations for driving suspended
*1 ignition Interlock Device violation citation
*10 citations for seatbelt violations
*11 warnings for seatbelt violations
*1 warning for child restraint
*3 warnings for distracted driving
*1 arrest for Fail to Carry/Display
*3 equipment violation warnings
*14 other citations and 50 other warnings.
Norris said supplementing the Click-It-Or-Ticket campaign during Labor Day week, an additional 15 hours of DUII enhanced enforcements took place.
