A woman was hurt in an accident that happened near the entrance to Mercy Medical Center on Tuesday night.
A report from the Roseburg Police Department said at 7:00 p.m. a 73-year old woman attempted to turn left onto Mercy Drive while traveling east on Stewart Parkway. The report said she attempted to return to her lane of travel after seeing another vehicle going westbound. Instead she crashed head on into that 2nd vehicle. A passenger in the 2nd vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver that caused the wreck was cited for failure to drive within a lane. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
