Summer Saturday’s continue at the Douglas County Museum.
The series features a full day of activities for kids and families of all ages, running every Saturday through August 31st.
Each week, Museum staff and volunteers will host activities including story time, crafts, games and more, all geared towards helping kids discover and connect with the natural world. The activities are meant for families to enjoy together, so adults should plan on participating with their children.
Toddlers and Pre-K activities get started at 10:30 a.m. while activities for “big kids” run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. From 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. there is a Family Matinee which features family-friendly films and movies.
