A Roseburg man was jailed for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and for a parole violation on Wednesday afternoon.
A report from the Roseburg Police said at about 2:45 p.m. 36-year old James Wall and a 36-year old woman were contacted during a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Northeast Stephens. K9 Trapper alerted on the vehicle, and during a search both occupants were allegedly found with a small amount of meth.
Wall was initially held without bail. The report said the woman was charged as well but she is not listed as being detained, according to the Douglas County Jail website.
