Officials with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office have released DUII patrol statistics from the recent Dunefest in Winchester Bay.
Sergeant Mark Norris said during the 6-day event from July 23rd through July 28th, deputies worked a total of 83 hours of DUII enforcement grants with funds provided by the Oregon Department of Transportation.
At Dunefest there were:
*18 arrests
*6 speeding citations
*4 suspended/revoked citations
*6 DUII arrests
*10 MIP alcohol citations
*8 equipment violations
*23 other violations
*196 warnings
*1 felony arrest
Norris said deputies also responded to 3 injury crashes during the course of the long weekend.
