Detectives with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office have a stabbing investigation underway.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell said the incident took place at the “Freedom Camp” transient camp in the 1800 block of Mill Street, just south of the Roseburg city limits. O’Dell said Wednesday night at 11:30 p.m. deputies found 28-year old Nathaniel Creveston suffering from a stab wound. O’Dell said deputies and officers provided medical care to the victim until an ambulance arrived and transported him to Mercy Medical Center.
He was later transferred to an undisclosed hospital for further care.
O’Dell said anyone with information in the case is asked to call the Investigations Division of DCSO.
