MAN JAILED FOR CAUSING PUBLIC ALARM

A Roseburg man was jailed, accused of causing public alarm on Saturday morning.
A report from Roseburg Police said at around 11:15 a.m. 65-year old Steven Standley was allegedly throwing dog feces at cars as they passed by him in the 2600 block of Edenbower Boulevard.  Standley was held for charges that included second-degree disorderly conduct and offensive littering, among other charges. He was initially detained on $7,500 bail.
