In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The Umpqua Valley Arts Association’s annual Members Show opens next Friday July 12^th.
The show will feature artwork from local artist members and will fill the entire building. All media will be represented, including works made by students in the UVAA’s clay and watercolor classes.
Gallery Director Sandee McGee said the show ends up being “one of the most interesting and exciting exhibits we do all year because of the diverse range of artwork in the show”.
The Members Show will be on display through September 20^th. It can be viewed during the regular Art Center hours: Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A reception will open the show from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
