In the KQEN Business Spotlight:
Kickstart Coffee opens on Monday in Roseburg.
Owned by Jace Russel and Zoey Harris-Hicks, the new business is located at 485 Northeast Stephens Street. The drive-thru is in a building recently vacated by Oregon Sourdough Company and originally used as a Pizza Hut location.
Jace Russell told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that Kickstart will use Sister’s Coffee as its roasters to make customers a variety of espresso drinks. Russell said they will also offer white Monsters as their “race day refreshers” along with regular Monster and Red Bull drinks. Food options include breakfast items, panini’s, salads, and soups. Russell said the menu will be posted on their social media very soon.
Russell said both he and Zoey have worked in the restaurant industry previously, and Jace’s family has owned a number of restaurants. Zoey has worked at coffee outlets for several years, so the pair decided to take the jump and start their own business. They have 7 employees as they begin operations.
Starting hours for Kickstart Coffee are weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
