Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported hospital incident on Sunday night.

An RPD report said at 10:40 p.m. officers were dispatched to CHI Mercy Medical Center on Northwest Stewart Parkway after hospital security staff said the man had been dispatched from the hospital three hours prior but was refusing to leave. Officers contacted him in the emergency department waiting room and gave him numerous opportunities to leave, but he refused to do so. He was eventually taken into custody without incident and was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,250.
