Travelers could see delays of up to 20 minutes on Interstate 5 north of Grants Pass this week.

An ODOT release said on Tuesday, September 29th and Thursday October 1st, crews will apply new striping to the pavement. On Wednesday, September 30th utility crews will repair powerlines over the highway.

Rolling slowdowns will affect travel in the northbound lanes between Exit 66 at Hugo and Exit 80 at Glendale between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, there will be rolling slowdowns in the northbound and southbound lanes between Exit 66 and Exit 80 between 8:00 a.m. and noon.

During a rolling slowdown, traffic control vehicles will hold traffic to a slow but steady pace. Traffic may be held for up to 20 minutes at exit ramps.
