Roseburg Police jailed a man for violation of a no contact order on Monday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. officers responded to an apartment in the 400 block of Northeast Winchester Street after a caller said the 48-year-old suspect had returned to a victim’s residence. There was a no contact order preventing the man from having contact with the victim. Officers contacted the suspect inside the apartment and took him into custody. He was detained without bail and was released on Tuesday morning
