The Douglas Forest Protective Association continues with prescribed burns in the Umpqua Valley.

On Tuesday, a fire is scheduled for ignition at 10:00 a.m. in the 4700 block of Dole Road in the Myrtle Creek area. Smoke will be visible from Interstate 5, Myrtle Creek, Weaver Road, Tri City, Winston, Dillard and Round Prairie.
