Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Friday.

An RPD report said shortly after 11:45 a.m. officers contacted the 48-year-old while posting prohibited camps at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. The man was wanted by his parole officer for failure to report. He was placed in custody without incident and transported to corrections. The man was detained without bail and was released on Monday morning.
