Regional and Statewide Services for Students with Orthopedic Impairments is hosting a virtual Feeding Seminar on October 22nd and 23rd.

A release from Douglas Education Service District said the two-day virtual conference is designed for professionals in education and related fields, including administration, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, dietetics and nursing. Parents and college students are also welcome to attend.

This workshop will provide professional development to help school feeding teams evaluate current practices and set goals that promote student safety. Participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions focused on a variety of topics, including ethical decision making, mealtime assessment, feeding plan implementation and more.

Conference registration fees:

• $205 – Two-day registration
• $105 – Parents of children experiencing disabilities or full-time college students
• $155 – Douglas ESD employees

Certificates of attendance for up to 13 contact hours will be emailed to participants following the seminar.
