Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 4:10 a.m. officers contacted the 52-year-old under the Jackson Street Bridge in the 200 block of Southeast Jackson Street. The man was sleeping inside a blue tent camping in a prohibited area. Officers cited the man for a violation count of the charge as he had not been previously convicted. He was then released.
