ROSEBURG WOMAN CITED AFTER DUII WRECK

A Roseburg woman was cited after a DUII wreck on Tuesday night.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said shortly after 11:00 pm. the 18-year-old allegedly ran her SUV into a light pole at high speeds within the small parking lot of a business in the 100 block of Roberts Creek Road in the Green District. The woman showed signs of impairment and there were “whip-its” visible in the vehicle. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests, which she reformed poorly and was taken into custody.

She was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. After being given the citation, the woman was released to a sober adult.
