Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Monday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:20 a.m. an officer contacted the 72-year-old after he was called in for trespassing at a store in the 900 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The officer had knowledge that the man was wanted by his parole officer who authorized a detainer. He was taken into custody and transported to corrections. The man was detained without bail.
