Interstate 5 ramps at Exits 140 and 142 near Oakland will close overnight in stages now through this Thursday the 17th for scheduled work, with alternate routes available during the closures.
An update from the Oregon Department of Transportation said work is underway on the I-5 southbound Exit 140 off-ramp to Old Highway 99, and it will be closed at night between the hours of 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM through Wednesday, September 16th.
Starting Wednesday, the I-5 northbound Exit 142 on and off-ramps to and from Metz Hill Rd will be closed at night from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM through Thursday, September 17th.
When these on-ramps and off-ramps to and from Metz Hill Rd and Old Hwy 99 are closed motor carriers can use either Exit 146 or Exit 135 depending on which direction of travel or use authorized alternate routes.
