Roseburg Police cited a man for a prior case of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft early Friday morning.

An RPD report said at 1:00 a.m. officers contacted the 44-year-old regarding the theft of gas from a vehicle that had reportedly occurred on August 31st. The man allegedly admitted to the theft. He was located in the 400 block of Northeast Newton Creek Road. The man was released after the citation was issued.
