Both drivers were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 2:10 p.m. the driver of the first vehicle was turning left onto Melrose Road from Old Melrose Road and failed to yield to yield to the second vehicle which was traveling east on Melrose Road. Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. The first driver, a 32-year-old Roseburg man, was cited for making a dangerous left turn.
