Roseburg Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 10:50 a.m. officers responded to the accident at the intersection of Northwest Stewart Parkway and Northwest Mercy Drive. Upon arrival, officers learned that the first driver was going eastbound on Stewart Parkway and ran a red light. Subsequently, the second vehicle was exiting an adjacent parking lot when his light turned green and he collided with the other vehicle.

The second vehicle was towed from the scene, while the first vehicle was driven from the scene. The driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
