Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just after 5:00 p.m. officers contacted the 66-year-old in Stewart Park in the 2000 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive and learned he had an active warrant out of the Oregon State Police Department for failure to report as a sex offender. He was taken into custody without issue.

The man was detained on $5,000 bail and was released later in the day.
