Light showers are expected in the Umpqua Valley on Friday and Sunday, with dry conditions on Saturday and Monday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that slow moving low-pressure Friday means the potential for up to a quarter of an inch of rain and highs around 70 degrees. Saturday low clouds and a high in the mid 70’s are expected. On Sunday, light showers return with minimal precipitation and highs remaining in the mid 70’s. Monday is expected to see the beginning of more seasonally normal weather with highs in the upper 70’s. Highs in the mid 80’s are forecast starting on Tuesday.
Thursday the Roseburg Regional Airport recorded a high temperature of 68 degrees and 0.07 inches of precipitation.
