Due to recent precipitation, increased fuel moisture and relative humidity across lands protected by the Douglas Forest Protective Association, the Industrial Fire Precaution Level decreased to Level 1 effective at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.

DFPA Public Information Officer Rachel Pope said this change applies to all lands protected by DFPA as well as all forestland within one eighth mile of those areas, including lands managed by the Roseburg District Bureau of Land Management.

Public Use Restrictions for lands protected by DFPA remain at LOW. There is no change to the Public Use Restrictions.
