Roseburg Police cited a man for second-degree trespass on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 10:30 a.m. a victim called to say the 36-year-old had entered her carport in the 500 block of West Hickory Street, even through it was posted with “No Trespassing” signs. Officers located the suspect, who identified himself. He stated that he was looking for cans.

The man was cited and released on the scene.
