ABOVE NORMAL HIGHS THROUGH THURSDAY IN UMPQUA VALLEY

Above normal high temperatures are expected to continue in the Umpqua Valley through Thursday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that strong high pressure is keeping highs around 90 degrees or slightly above. By Friday, conditions should cool slightly back to seasonal norms in the mid 80’s.

The mercury reached 91 degrees on Tuesday at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The normal high for the date is 86 degrees.
