In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Actors Community Theatre will be performing Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express” September 3rd through the 20th at the Betty Long Unruh Theatre on West Harvard Avenue.

A release from UACT said, in this classic Agatha Christie whodunit, the Orient Express train gets stuck in a snowdrift, and what begins as an ordinary journey becomes a gripping mystery. A detective finds himself surrounded by a train full of strangers, each with secrets to hide, as a wealthy passenger is discovered murdered in the night.

As tensions rise, amid the web of lies and hidden identities, the truth begins to surface, and the case becomes more complex than it first appears. Who is guilty, and what does justice truly mean?

Performances will be Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for children under age 12. Tickets can be purchased at www.uact-theatre.com or by calling UACT at 673-2125.
