Roseburg Police jailed a woman for reckless burning on Saturday afternoon.

An RPD report said at approximately 4:00 pm. officers contacted the 34-year-old after she had allegedly started a fire on the hillside near the intersection of Northeast Hewitt Avenue and Northeast Walker Court. She was transported to corrections and was also charged with a probation violation. Bail was set at $6,250.
