Blocktober Fest presented by NeighborWorks Umpqua is now accepting applications from sales vendors, beer and wine vendors, community partners, non-profits, downtown businesses, and sponsors for the 5th Annual Roseburg Blocktober Fest, set for Saturday, October 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 6 :00 p.m. in historic downtown Roseburg.

A release said Blocktober Fest is a free, all-ages block party that transforms Southeast Jackson Street and Southeast Main Street, from Southeast Lane Avenue to Southeast Douglas Street into a celebration of live music, local food and drink, family entertainment and the growing downtown Roseburg business corridor. Last year’s 4th annual event drew an estimated 5,000 attendees.

New this year, the Umpqua Valley Farmers Market, which typically operates from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. year-round, will open later than usual this year from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to run alongside Blocktober Fest in the 400 block of Main Street. Regular marketgoers should note the later start time, while festival attendees can visit market vendors throughout the afternoon alongside the day’s music, food, and more.

Applications to be a vendor are open until August 31st.
