The City of Roseburg will welcome six candidates for the city manager position to the community between Tuesday, August 4th and Thursday, August 6th as part of the city’s recruitment and interview process.

A city release said during their visit, candidates will participate in a formal interview process and appear at a public reception. Community members are invited to attend and hear directly from the candidates as they discuss their professional experience, leadership approach and interest in serving the Roseburg community.

The public schedule will include a candidate reception on Tuesday, August 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Roseburg Public Safety Center on Southeast Douglas Avenue. Candidates will be available to meet with community members. Each candidate will have an opportunity to give a 10-minute presentation.

Candidates will also participate in a tour of the community on their interview date.

City staff told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that at this time the names of the candidates will not be released ahead of the Tuesday event.
