A Washington State man was jailed for driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving on Wednesday evening.
An Oregon State Police report said at 7:20 p.m. a trooper was dispatched to a single vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 5 at milepost 140 southbound near the Oakland interchange. The driver allegedly showed signs of impairment and consented to standard field sobriety tests. After performing only one test, the man showed further signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center where he was evaluated.
A legal blood draw was performed, and the man was taken to corrections. He was detained without bail and was released on Thursday. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
