Roseburg Police jailed a man Monday for a reported previous criminal mischief incident.

An RPD report said at approximately 9:40 a.m. officers contacted the 52-year-old at Douglas County Correction regarding the incident in which he was allegedly observed on camera punching a victim’s vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 2400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. causing over $1,000 in damage to the vehicle.

Bail was set at $2,500 and the man remained in custody.
