The Douglas County Fair opens in just over a week:

“Fair, Fun and Freedom” is the theme for this year’s fair. It takes place between Wednesday, August 5th and Saturday August 8th.

Headline entertainment includes: The Challenge of Champions Bull Riding event on Wednesday, country singer Aaron Lewis on Thursday, hip-hop and rap from Tone Loc on Friday, and country favorite Niko Moon on Saturday. Reserved seats are still available to Tone Loc and Niko Moon. They are $35 each. Reserved seats are sold out for Aaron Lewis.

Carnival pre-sale tickets are $35 -a savings of $10 – through August 5th. Admission to the fair is $10 for those age 13 and over. Children age 12 and under are admitted for free.

Buses to the fair are free and will be available every half hour from 10:00 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. and every fifteen minutes from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 pm. on Wednesday through Friday. Buses run every fifteen minutes on Saturday. Buses are available at Roseburg High School and the First Student Bus Lot in the Green District. Parking at the fair will be $10 per vehicle.
