Roseburg Police cited a man for a city ordinance violation early Monday morning.

An RPD report said just before 3:00 am. officers contacted the 54-year-old at Deer Creek Park in the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. His camp was approximately 30 feet by 10 feet, surrounded by multiple bicycles, piles of bike parts, and trash. The man claimed ownership of the camp and was issued a citation for prohibited camping. He was also cited for depositing trash within 100 yards of water.
