ROSEBURG POLICE CITE WOMAN FOLLOWING EARLY MORNING WRECK

Roseburg Police cited a woman following an early morning wreck on Monday.

An RPD report said at 4:30 a.m. officers responded to the 2100 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue after a caller said a vehicle had hit a parked car, knocking it into a utility pole. The vehicle hit had rotated 360 degrees and ended up on the sidewalk. The car was hanging off the edge of a hill in a front yard, approximately ten feet from a residence. The 60-year-old driver claimed that she had fallen asleep while driving. She was cited for reckless driving and was released. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
