The Myrtle Creek City Council and Urban Renewal Agency will both meet on Tuesday night.
Public hearings will be held to take comments on the use of state revenue sharing funds and on the proposed 2026/2027 fiscal year budget. Councilors will consider resolutions certifying the city’s qualification to receive state revenue sharing funds, declaring the city’s election to receive those funds, imposing Ad Valorem taxes, adopting the budget and making budget appropriations. The budget approved by the budget committee is just over $22.9 million.
The council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by the Urban Renewal Agency meeting.
Other items are on the agenda. The meetings are in the council chambers on Northwest Pleasant Street.
