Roseburg Police charged a woman with a felony count of strangulation early Sunday morning.

An RPD report said at approximately 2:45 a.m. officers contacted the suspect and a victim at a residence in the 1100 block of Northeast Crescent Street. The victim told officers that the woman had chocked him after they had gotten into an argument. The suspect initially admitted to the incident but then said she didn’t want to hurt the victim but instead wanted a video of the incident the victim had taken, deleted.

The woman was detained without incident and held without bail.
